FFA Safety Plan
In December 2023, the FFA board approved safety rules for the company's tours and cabins. The Akureyri Travel Association wants to promote safety on tours, in cabins and at the company's campsites as much as possible. To this end, a safety plan was drawn up, which is important for participants in tours and those staying in the company's cabins and campsites to familiarize themselves with. In this way, an attempt is made to ensure the safety of everyone in every respect.
Trips
The FFA Travel Committee prepares a new travel plan annually and publishes it on its website in December each year. It can also be accessed on the FFA department website at the Icelandic Travel Association.
There are 50 - 60 trips planned each year.
