The Huts

The club’s mountain huts are in Herðubreiðarlindir, Drekagil and Laugafell in Eyjafjörður.

Hiking huts are in Botni, Bræðrafell, Dyngjufell and Lambi.

The huts at Drekagil, in Herðubreiðarlindir and in Laugafell are locked in the wintertime, Bræðrafell and Lambi are locked all year round.
Those interested in staying in the huts please contact the clubs office.

The opening hours of the office in winter (1st of September to the 30th of April) are Mondays to Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm.

The opening hours of the office in summer (1st of May to the 30th of August) are Mondays to Thursdays from 2 pm to 5 pm and Fridays fram 2 pm to 4 pm.
